Then here is a tip for you to add goodness of soya in your batter. Soya is full of Calcium and it help with strength of bones and teeth. And it is rich in protein and Iron. Adding this to your daily food gives more benefits. There won't be much difference in the look and feel of your Idly and dosa in this method. Idlies will be much more softer than the normal Idly. Many mix soy flour before making Idly, if you prepare batter in this method you need not mix flour just soak Whole soy and grind it with dal. I have given full procedure of how i make it below.
