Crispy Millet Dosa

When I started writing this blog decided to do fancy recipes like pasta, pizza, burger like that, Now thought, why should we decide kids only like this kind of food. Once we start giving them our traditional food which mostly they have not thought about in a more attractive way we will see the change. So today started writing our best food to give our children.

This dosa is not only healthy it is crispy like paper dosa which sometimes in restaurant like to eat. I have used little millet (Telugu Sama, Tamil Samai) you can use any millet which is available in market easily.

Things needed for making this Dosa

Little millet -  1.5 cups
Urad dal -  handful
Green Chili - 3 small
Jeera - 1 tsp.
Salt  - to taste
Oil or ghee for frying.

Soak millet and urad dal together for 2 hours
Add green chillies jeera salt to the soaked millets.
Grind it to fine paste and mix water bring to very thin running consistency for thin crispy dosa. Incase if you want to make soft dosas make the batter little thicker like normal dosa batter.
Heat the pan really hot then sprinkle dosa batter on it without spreading it in ladle. spread little oil or ghee.

Wait till dosa turns little brown in color and start to  raise in the corner then turn it to the other side. cook it for jest few seconds and serve it hot.

 This is great with Chutnies.
You can also add onion carrot coriander leaves like rava dosa in this and serve.

Enjoy this healthy breakfast with your family.
