Paneer Stuffed Rice Rolls

Again this is done with leftover rice. While I was watching sushi preparation I got this idea and tried it. It has different textures with Crispy peanut, soft paneer, and rice adds another texture. This dish can be done with different stuffing like paneer, cheese, chicken fish different roasted vegetable sticks. Here I have shown it with paneer and also with chicken sausage.

This is quiet a filling snack perfect for kids returning from school. It will be also a new addition for your party. Do all the preparation well ahead and store it to fry just before serving.

Now Preparation starts with these Ingredients

For Outer layer
Leftover Rice
Cornflour
Salt
Roasted Peanut

Stuffing Ingreidents
Paneer( or anything mentioned above)
Homemade chili sauce
Parsley or fresh coriander leaves
salt
Garam masala

Mix Nicely mashed Leftover rice with chili sauce, Cornflour 1 Tbsp. and Salt.

Make sticks of paneer or any other vegetables and add chili sauce
, fresh herbs, garam masala and salt

Shallow fry it with little oil.

Cook it low flame with lid so paneer will be tender and spices will mix well.

Spread thin layer of mashed rice on a polythene sheet and arrange paneeer sticks like shown in the picture.

Grate Cheese on top of paneer.

Roll it tightly.

Press crushed roasted peanuts on top of rice roll and store it until frying.

For Non vegetarians you can simply fry sausages with little oil and do the above mentioned process.

Shallow fry it before serving with little oil until peanut turn brown on all the sides.

Serve it with Mayo and chili sauce.

All the best for your try.
