Tomato Dosa

When I think about making breakfast this is one of my favorite Dosa. Normally most of them make onion dosa, egg dosa like that since we grind Tomatoes with rice it gives unique taste to this Dosa. Instead of  always making plain dosa this will be a change. 



Things needed for Batter

Raw Rice or millets - 1 cup
Idly Rice - 1 cup
Tomatoes - 5
Garlic - 5
Dry Chili - 4 or 5
Jeera - 1 Tsp
Salt

For Seasoning

Oil 
Mustard seeds
Urad Dal
Curry leaves


Soak both rice together for minimum 2 hrs and grind it with other ingredients into a paste. Batter should be little more watery than normal dosa batter.



Season the batter with mustard seeds, urad dal and curry leaves. 


Heat pan nicely and then pour the batter and spread it. Wait until it starts browning and raising in the corner then flip it on other side and let it for just few seconds and remove it from fire.


Serve it hot with Coconut chutney and pickle.


Sometimes when there is leftover batter I dip bread in it and toast it like french toast this becomes a good evening snack.
